UV rash guard t-shirts for kids
Summertime is one of my favourite seasons… I’m looking forward to go to the swimming pool and the beach with my minimoi. The only thing that I dislike is the “sunscreen moment”. She hates it and I have to be extremely quick and creative in order to put her the sunscreen on.

Luckily I’ve found a solution to these horrible “sunscreen moments”… the anti-UV shirts! So now I only have to focus on her face, legs and hands.
These shirts are great, they offer the highest protection (50+FPS) either dry and wet, are light, transpirable and dry really fast (apart from giving your baby a surfer look).
When my minimoi was 8 months old I bought her one from Decathlon and this year I’ve repeated with the newest model.
But if you want your little one to wear something different, today we present you a selection of different brands.
First of all there’s Del Sol that manufactures t-shirts that apart from protecting your babies’ skin from the UV radiation they change of color with the sunlight.
A classic UV- protection brand is aussie Baby Banz which we introduced in our post about sunglasses (here). Their models range from 7 to 23 euros and you can buy them in different online shops like this one (here).
And at last there’s Sunblock from No Sun Burn which is a little bit more expensive but which gives your baby a total surfer look.
So as you can see, surprisingly there aren’t a lot of brands that manufacture these kind of shirts. Even though, they’re really practical and the best way to guarantee your minimoi is well protected against sun burns (without getting obsessed with the sunscreen).
What do you think about them?
