Discovering Paloma Valdivia
My friend Paula is proving to be a great source of inspiration. She has not only recommended the shop in which I found my beloved Donna Wilson cushions but also has discovered me the great books from Paloma Valdivia while our minimoi were playing at her place.
This chilean illustrator is great! I love her drawings full of color, humour and life!
Although most of her books are in spanish (like Caperucita Roja by Gabriela Mistral, el Mago de los Fogones by Joan de Déu Prats and Es Así) you can now find the successful Los de arriba y los de abajo in english as well (and 6 more languages).
And if with her books you don’t have enough, check out her collaboration with Chispum wall stickers here!
If I move out from Barcelona one day, I’ll surely bring with me this Sagrada Familia wall sticker with the Gaudí little angel that supervises all the works from up above.
Have a nice weekend!
