With nice weather here come the summer music festivals… I still remember those times when I used to dance till dawn and sleep till the afternoon!
Now with a minimoi at home, things are quite different because first of all I’m exhausted at 01:00 and at 07:00h there’s someone at home who doesn’t care at all if her parents have been partying all night long…
Nevertheless, Sónar and Primavera Sound offer us a great solution so that we can enjoy good music with our minimois at a reasonable schedule.
So write down in your agendas these appointments to have some fun with your families:
Sónar Kids – Port de la Selva: 26th and 27th of May
SonarKids goes to Costa Brava under the name of SonarKids Music. Precisely to the Paseo marítimo del Port de la Selva (Alt Empordà), where on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 of May kids and adults will be able to enjoy good music and have fun for free.
Since it will be by the sea, why not planning a beach picnic like the ones we suggested in this post?

Minimúsica – San Miguel Primavera Sound: 1-3 June (Barcelona) & 24 June (Madrid)
You might already know this musical initiative (remember this post). So next appointment will be next weekend in Barcelona:
All the activities at Parc del Fórum are free till 14 years old and everything in Parc de la Ciutadella is free to everyone.
Regarding Madrid’s concert, it will take place at Matadero and one of the artists will be Christina Rosenvinge that some of us still remember from her 80′s group “Alex y Christina”, he, he.
If you know any interesting festival from your city/country, just leave a comment in this entry and we’ll talk about it in future posts.
Have a nice musical weekend!
