Nowadays if you live in the city is it’s almost impossible to give each of your kids their own room. The most usual is that they share a bedroom (like my sister and I did, by the way).
There are plenty of themed rooms intended for kids of the same gender. But things get a little bit more complicated when a girl and a boy have to share a room. In that case one can tend to create a less customized ambient.
So today, we present you a selection of nice shared rooms for boys and girls.
Sometimes is only a matter of choosing the right complements. Look at these beds, they’re exactly the same furniture but pillows, bed linen and the wall stickers make the difference.

I also like the idea of putting your child name on the bed headboard or decorating the wall with a different painting (a butterfly vs a caterpillar, no boys vs no girls, a car vs flowers,…).

Sometimes, when your kids grow up they’ll want to have more “air” between them. In that case, shelfs, tables and curtains can help create a line between their worlds.

The only thing that bores me a bit is the blue vs pink classic. Maybe it’s because our room was pink and I ended up hating this color…
Even though, when I discovered this last picture I realized how difficult it is to resist to pink temptation…
