First flagship store of Piu et Nau

When we found out that after 4 years in the market, Piu et Nau opened its first flagship store in Barcelona we really wanted to visit it, so one of us went there a few days ago to share with you this new finding.

You may not remember it but Piu et Nau was one of the brands from Tiny Barcelona’s giveaway. We loved the soft cotton body which is its most popular product and we also liked its simplicity in all of its clothes.

The shop is near Turó Park, at Ferran Agulló street, and the thruth is that it’s very cute, it really represents the essence of the brand: wood walls, antique furniture, soft lightning, all makes it a comfy environment.

As they say on their website they do “basics but not that basic”, and I think it’s a good definition because their clothes look simple but they really watch the detail to make them comfortable and elegant at the same time.

For example, in this picture you may not see it well but these bodies have a little weave that looks beautiful.

I also like this overall with its belt, and you can find it in many colors. And how about the hangers? They are made with collage technique by an artist called Batiscafo monoplácido…aren’t they cool?

This t-shirt is available in baby version and adult too! I can tell you that they are really comfortable!

Also, at first they didn’t expect it but it seems that green isthe best seller color in the shop. And it’s no surprise to me because I really like these grey t-shirt and green shorts mix.

And that’s all, we hope you liked it and that you visit the shop whenever you want, where you can find beautiful and fresh clothes for the summer.

Kmfamily showroom at The Grokstore

kmfamily showroom - minimoi

If you’re in Barcelona tomorrow morning and you don’t have any plan yet, don’t miss out kmfamily‘s showroom at The Grokstore (C/París 215).

They open at 11h with a free Washi Tape workshop and you’ll be able to buy clothes and decorative elements since 14h at very affordable prices.

I’ve been there today so here is my tiny selection of what I’ve liked the most…

Attention to “Washi” paper rolls! Don’t they look like yummy cupcakes?

Check out these funny melamine dishes…

And finally some pics about The Grokstore shop as well. I’m sure we’ll be back soon. Don’t you remember the obsession of my sister with letters in this post (here)?

Have a nice weekend!

Visit to Lulabu’s showroom

Natalia from Lulabú received us in a beautiful modernist flat at Ravella’s street where she has settled a little showroom that you can visit until the 8th of June in Barcelona.

As you may remember we first mentioned Lulabú when we were looking for bandana baby bibs (watch post here).

In her showroom, apart from meeting her lovely side, she showed us her new collection made with absolutely exquisite fabrics. Some of them are really special, for example she showed us a vintage fabric from the 60s and other fabrics that she bought in England…It really looks like she picks very carefully all the prints.

And also she produces everything all by herself…This girl is a true artist and she is autodidactic! Both of us where amazed when she told us  how she started sewing since she was a little kid…A few days ago her mother showed her a hankerchief that she sewed when she was only 8 years old!

One of her latest works is a vintage bib made according to an old bib pattern that her mother used to have. Also she has new pacifier hangers.

And though she keeps on doing her packs (pacifier hanger+bib+bandana bib) she is starting to innovate with other accessories: belts, rubber bands…

Also she has started to work with a friend of hers, Jen, with a new line of products called Lúlabu leather and fabrics: a 100% lovely handmade collection that combines leather with beautiful fabrics. How did she came out with this idea? Well, nothing can surprise us more about Natalia…a friend of hers inherited some leather sewing machines and she didn’t know what to do with them…There she was Natalia to let herself go and follow her destiny…

We left the showroom really happy, she gave us a little bandana for Roser’s minimoi and to me she took measurements to make me a belt that I loved so much.

And there’s also something to you too…soon there will be a Lulabú’s giveaway…It’ll be spectacular so keep on following us!

Tiger: the chinese-danish store

Today I would like to introduce you to a shop that has been a revelation to me; a shop that my sister-in-law showed me the last time that we visited Madrid: it’s called Tiger.

Since 10 days ago we are lucky to have it in Barcelona too because they have recently opened 2 shops: one in rosselló 247 street (between passeig de gràcia and rambla catalunya) and the other one is at Ronda Universitat.

And you may wonder…What’s so special about this shop? Well it’s like a chinese shop but at danish’s style…I mean, they have all the good things about nordic design and at low prices such as in a chinese shop…Ain’t that cool?

There you will find a wide variety of useless things: houseware, games, stationery…some are more useful than others but… so what? They are all so cute! and so cheap too!

I have also found some clones inspired of brands that I love such as urban outfitters, ferm living, Fred’s…Come on and see!

Do you recall one of our first “fun food’s” post? Well here you have a funny clone of Fred’s food face plate.

The moustache trend is on fire! At urban outfitters they have this beautiful mug and at Tiger this cool soap dispenser: got it!

And how about these harlequin bowls? This time I prefer Tiger’s version than the original one.

Apart from the clones, you can also find good decoration ideas. Look at the lamp globe at Tiger! I have seen it so many times at apartment therapy blog…

Or this cute idea that we gave at DIY Christmas post.At Tiger’s they have a kit that makes it even easier to do it!

I’m so happy with my latest shopping at Tiger’s that I can’t stop sharing it with you all…Everything is sooooooo cute!!
