Yo, como mucha gente de mi “quinta”, aprendí a ir en bici en una bicicleta BH roja con 2 ruedecillas traseras supletorias. No digo que la experiencia no fuera positiva, pero tuve que esperar a tener una altura suficiente para poder probar esta nueva sensación. Ahora, con las nuevas bicicletas de equilibrio, desde los 2 años uno puede lanzarse a rodar libremente y además hacerlo de una forma muy natural e intuitiva.
As many people of my generation, I learned how to ride a bike in a red BH bike with 2 little wheels at the back. I don’t mean that the experience was bad, but I had to wait until I was tall enough to finally get to try this new sensation. Now with the new balance bikes, one can can ride freely and in a very natural and intuitive way from 2 years old.
Las bicis de equilibrio no tienen pedales ni cadenas ni frenos, además por lo visto, tienen mucha estabilidad y es un primer gran paso para subirse a una bici de verdad más adelante.
Balance bikes don’t have pedals, chains neither brakes. They are very stable and are considered to be the best first step to learn how to ride a real bike.
En los últimos años han proliferado los modelos de bicis de equilibrio, pero a mí las que más me gustan son las de maderita, así que he seleccionado algunas marcas para que veáis lo que hay por ahí.
In the last few years, there has been a balance bike boom, but I will only show you the ones I like the most: the wooden ones. I have selected some brands so that you can see what’s out there in the market.
La primera es Early rider, todo un referente en las bicis de este tipo: muy cool y con diseños muy moteros.
The first one is Early rider, a top of mind of these kind of bikes: very cool and with a design that reminds you of a motorcycle.
Tienen 3 modelos diferentes: la lite (más ligera y a partir de los 20 meses), la classic (con un centro de gravedad más bajo y más estable) y la evolution (más fácil de maniobrar pero para niños a partir de 3 años y medio).
There are 3 different models: the lite one (lighter and from 20 months up), the classic one (with a lower gravity center and therefore more stable) and the evolution one (easier to manipulate but for elderly children from 3,5 years old).
También están las “natural bikes”, un modelo de bici muy sencillo pero igual de eficaz y que además han sido diseñadas en España ; y las kiddimoto con cantidad de modelos para elegir de todos los colores y estampados que te puedas imaginar.
There are also the “natural bikes” a simple model but very efficient and designed in Spain; and the kiddimoto ones, with endless kinds of models, with all the colors and prints you can imagine.
Por último está la bicicleta de la marca Goula, que yo desconocía pero que Roser me comentó que también estaba muy bien. Además está disponible en color rojo lo que la hace aún más divertida ( ¡y más parecida a mi bh roja!).
Finally, there is this brand called Goula, which I didn’t know anything of, but that Roser told me that was also very good. And it’s available on red which makes it even more fun (and more like my old red BH!)
Y esto es todo…bueno, hay muchos más modelos y marcas, pero no caben en un post…¿Y a vosotros, os convencen este tipo de bicis? ¿habéis comprado o regalado alguna?
